Delhi University (SOL) will create 4 lakhs email id!

Delhi University School of Open Learning (SOL) has started a new experiments for students.  Email id is creating for all the students who are taking admission in SOL, and emails and passwords are issuing to students.  Not only for 1st year students, but it will also be provided to students of 2nd and 3rd year.

This process has been started and 4 lac students of Delhi University will enjoy this facility.  Now information of admission ticket, examination form, roll number, demand letter and result all will be given through emails.  Students can also take print out of form or roll number.

SOL computer center incharge Madhvi said ‘on this year email id will be given to all students Delhi University SOL’.  Every year around 1.25 lac students took admission in SOL.  Email ids are issuing to newly admitted students.

This will help students in many ways like information about important forms, when to will examination form etc.

Preparing for applying e-learning

Delhi University is also preparing for the scheme of e-learning project.  First of all university is preparing to experiment on study material. For solving the problem of non availability of study material, now e-learning project is implementing.  Now study material will be provided through CD, pen drive or memory card to students.  It is asked in admission form, that they want study material in books or CD?

  • Exam form to Roll number everything will be sent on email id.
  • This scheme is for all 4 lac students of 1st year to 3rd year.
  • No requirement to stand in que.
